Our Story
FinaLY, is an Erasmus+ funded project, which aims to enhance the financial literacy of young adults through tailored educational resources and workshops.
Youth is transitioning into the phase where they make important financial decisions, facing a complex financial world filled with challenges and opportunities. The project addresses the concerning statistic which revealed that approximately half of EU adults lack a full comprehension of basic financial concepts, according to the OECD/INFE 2020 international survey on adult financial literacy. With a focus on guiding youth through market navigation and prudent spending management.
FinaLY seeks to empower the next generation with crucial financial skills for their future.

Motivation
Based on our initial research in collaboration with student affairs offices from universities from both Cyprus and Ireland as well as recent Eurobarometer results it is evident that there is a problem regarding financial literacy that needs to be addressed and affect the lives of young adults. In an increasingly complex financial landscape, the ability to make informed and effective money management, investment, and financial planning decisions is critical. However, many young people enter adulthood with little knowledge of personal finance, which often leads to poor financial decisions with long-term consequences.
